Shipping & Returns Policy

Here at Southern Scents Co. we want you to feel like family and be fully satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not happy with your order, we offer returns under the following conditions:

Eligibility for Returns:

  • Items must be returned within 7 days of the delivery date.
  • Items must be in their original and unused condition 
  • We do not accept returns on sale items, gift cards, personalized, custom or private label wholesale products as these products are all made to order.

Shipping Process:

We work quickly to ship your order as soon as possible but we are human. We only ship domestically. Delivery times vary depending on your location in the USA. All orders are processed immediately within a few business days (excluding weekends and holidays). However, during the warmer months we only ship Monday - Wednesday to help prevent candles from melting by sitting over the weekend in warm semitrucks or shipping facilities, but we can't guarantee your candles won't sweat at the top during the warmer months through the shipping journey. It will not affect the candle negatively in anyway just burn the candle like you normally would. Please review the Candle Care 101 proper burning instructions at the end of every product card slide. There is a Warning Label at the bottom of your candle for extra instructions as well.

You will receive a confirmation email with tracking information once your order has shipped. You can review your order tracking through the shipping carrier's website. After we ship our products the journey of the package is out of our control. 

Return Process:

  1. To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team at info@southernscentsco.com please email "Return" in the subject line with your order number and reason for return.
  2. Once your return request is approved, you will receive detailed instructions on how to send your item(s) back.
  3. You are responsible for the return shipping costs unless the item is broken or you received the wrong item.

Refunds:

  • Once we receive your return and inspect the item(s), we will process your refund to the original payment method.
  • Please allow 5-7 business days for the refund to appear in your account after we have processed it.
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable, except in the case of a broken or incorrect item.

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive an item that is broken or damaged, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order. We will provide a replacement or issue a full refund, including shipping costs.
